So far it's been one that I haven't had a desire to read. But I've got so many series' started that it has to really pique my interest before I start a new group. Maybe some day ..... I just started reading Michael Connelly and after one book I'm addicted! I'd never paid attention to him before so I never say "never." ;<)

I love this series too.  I've read them all and I feel just like a member of their family :)

I like them. The main character is older..like late 30's or so.they're written very 'southern' with deep south views/prejudices. She has a young daughter with a biracial baby (big in the deep prejudiced south), a son who's been nothing but trouble, a younger daughter who's 'perfect'...an ex who's worthless but the adored son of the south to the town..oh and lives in a trailer park. She has strong values though and can hold her own. I can't wait for these to come out and a coworker also grabs them up and shares them with her mom after reading the first couple in the series.  I"m not sure how to describe these...I want to slap the older daughter about half the time for being so stupid and lazy! they're not really LOL funny but something about them draws me in and I dont' want to put the book down until I'm finished...

well I'm 41 and tend to read mostly romance and seems like all the women are youngsters..like 20 somethings so I assume I'm older LOL! I guess for cozies I'd still  be considerd young huh?! ;-) glad to know that! I'm just relieved when I can find a book I like where the character is older than 20 how's that?! :-)
