Why won't my sign in stay for two weeks? I am not clearing my passwords so I don't understand this. This only is a problem on this website. TIA for any help.

The most likely thing I can think of is that you accepted cookies for the session only. Clear the cookie preference for this site (www.paperbackswap.com, paperbackswap.com, and secure.paperbackswap.com are the ones to look for, I think) and see if that helps.

I'm in a secret thread. Where is my ice cream??? ;-)

Cool, another "secret" thread!  :)

I think Allie's got it right.  Check your browser's cookie settings and make sure paperbackswap.com is allowed to set cookies for more than just "this session".  Also try deleting the currently set cookies for paperbackswap.com, then try signing in again and see if it works.

You can also try running a virus scan. I had a similar problem on my computer and it was a virus. It only affected Barnes and Noble and a couple of other web sites but deleting the viruses corrected it.

What are you running?Netscape and Firefox, do this a lot.Explorer doesn'[t seem to have this issue.but, also it might be your "new updates" making things screwy.Try to roll back your computer to before this problem

I was having a problem after FF installed some updates. It was resolved after I rebooted the computer.
