I posted this in the other thread.  After an almost emergency situation, I found out avocado fruit is fine for your dog.  The dangerous part is the seed.  A certain type of avocado seed has something in them that is dangerous for dogs.

I didn't know about raisins being bad for dogs.  Good thing no ones likes them in my house.  Thanks for the post.

gosh my german shepherd always like grapes and raisins and I'd give her a few whenever I had them...luckily I never had them very  much...

Don't forget that salt if eaten  daily, can contribute to renal failure in dogs.

 I learned this in a hard way.
