You can't!    It takes 3 PBS credits to get 2 DVD credits.   They are only done that way.

Penny, I see you have 7 books on your shelf, and you want DVDs which are 3 PBS book credits for 2 dvd credits.  You might want to offer your 7 books on the "Book Bazaar" forum for 2 credits and see if anyone is interested.  Good luck!

Since your vision is the issue, have you considered audio books?  I think I've seen a few that are one point, but not positive about that.  Does large print help?  I've seen a number of large print books offered on this site.

I was going to suggest audio books as well.  They are 2 credits although sometimes people will offer a free one when you order one.  You could offer a deal on your books and then use the credits to order an audio book.  I find a lot of them pretty cheap on ebay or half-price books. They get snapped up pretty quick.  I like them for when I'm walking or doing yard work.

I hate to be negative, but has your eyesight deteriorated that significantly in the 13 days you've been a member?  If so, I would be more concerned with seeking medical attention than to trade your remaining free credit for a DVD.

I was thinking the exact thing Melissa.  She just joined and her eyesight is that bad so quickly.  Please, go to a doctor ASAP!!

I see by Penny's profile that she has MS.  I also suffer from MS, and I also suffer from optic neuritis which is caused by MS.  Luckily I have only had a few really bad flare-ups where I could not see well.  For those that are wondering how someone's eyesight can deteriorate so quickly, let me tell you this.  I can go to bed tonight seeing perfectly fine, and tomorrow morning I can wake up seeing very little.  Imagine looking through frosted glass....... you can see light, but nothing else.  That is how quickly it can happen.  It can last for a short while, or it can last forever.

Penny, I have been very fortunate that my optic neuritis has been rare and short-lived.  When I do have a flare-up, I find that large print books are a very good alternative.   I have never tried audio books, but if it came down to that or nothing, I would probably try those also.
