Great book. He names a lot of people who have each done something to erode away at our culture, society, etc. Very funny and a great read!!! I just love this guy. He tells the truth and doesn't hide behind all that phony political correctness.

This was an awesome book. So much better than your average "political" book. His comments on each of the 100 people were not only very interesting, but humorous as well. Most people I'd heard of, but a few I hadn't. It was informative AND entertaining.
A listing and discussion of people that author Bernie Goldberg calles, "America Bashers, Hollywood Blowhards, Intellectual Thugs," and - a category of its own - "Lawyers." This is a "conservative" book, so it may offend people of a liberal persuasion. If you enjoyed Team America: World Police (the "puppet movie") this book should provide some laughs. #1 of the 110 people is Michael Moore, and the quote is "They (Americans) are possibly the dumbest people on the planet." Thanks, Mike. At least I don't look like you.
I enjoyed the book - very quick reading material. It was funny, engaging, but gave me information about some well-known and not so well-known people that I didn't know. If Mr. Goldberg wrote another book I would be very interested in reading it.
Top notch political book with a sarcastic and highly comical look at Americans who are making themselves look bad. The writer reminded me of Bill O'Reilley and his patriots and pinheads proclamations but I like this book better because you like the writer better. You get the feeling this man backs up what he says and would be more willing to jump into the fire to help someone than someone who would either write a book about the fire or the failings of the fireman and I like that in a man and especially in a writer. I agree MJ had a deserving spot on this list and I find myself happy that Goldberg did not write but one line about MJ and it was right on given the light of recent events.
I recommend this book to others. I give it a 4 only because I dont care much for pinhead proclamations to me its better to award positive behaviour in people inorder to reinforce it than to point out mistakes, thats the women of this worlds job not men, and hey all people screw up at sometime in their lives!
My favs from his list are:
Eve Ensler,Sheila Jackson Lee,John Vasconcellos,Ingrid Newkirk,David Weston,Neal Shapiro and my worse favorites NANCY HOPKINS AND NORMAN MAILER AND LAST AND LEAST, IN A SENSE OF VALUE OF CHARACTER, ANTHONY ROMERO ACLU PRESIDENT.
I had high hopes for this book, but the author comes off as a whiny tattle tale instead of presenting real reasons that would convince the reader to take him seriously. I don't agree with him on many, but he also didn't give me any good facts to change my mind either. Couldn't wait to finish it.
Although dated, the book is not the worst thing I've ever read. As an unapologetic, old-school lefty, I picked this up for a quarter at a library book sale...just to get it out of the library where it might fall into the hands of children. Anyhoo, there is some funny stuff here and the author can clearly express his opinions.
This book is funny and a real eye opener. Goldberg has some great points and a neat sense of humor. He really makes the ppl in the book look like idiots too. He presents facts about what the ppl have done.
