the beauty tips were ok, but a lot of it were more like advertizements for a few particular products, some of which aren't even made anymore. Also, it seemed like they definately had less than 1001 tips, they just varied the questions, and gave the same tips repeatedly. An ok book, but not one to get excited about reading.

This is a large oversized book with lots of makeup, face, nail and hair tips. some lots of info, layed out simple and easy to follow. great for teens also.
