I have a lot of good technical books that are slightly older or previous versions.  If you order any Technical Book printed before 2001, you can request another free.  Almost all of them I know where the CD or floppy is if it came with one.  Make sure you let me know if you won't accept the book without one that is supposed to have it.

Limit is a total of 4 books per week per person.  It is expensive mailing the hardback books.  And some of them are almost 3" thick!

Hi Charlene, I work in an IT department for a large company, and even with over 80 people on our helpdesk and dozens more in other tech positions, there are never any takers for free books that are more than 4 years old.  We found out that we can recycle them along with our paper waste and that's where they usually end up...

On another swap board I've gotten rid of 12 books so far.  But their point system is a lot better than the one here, so it is easier to accumulate the points.
