Ok so first, my daughter has a "story reader" that reads aloud special books to her.  I'm wondering if anyone else has one and would like to either sell my some new books and cartridges for credit or arrange a swap of titles?  We have the Finding Nemo that came with it and a three pack of Barney books.

My second thought is, my niece's bday is coming up and I want to do several easy reader books for her but have no idea what kids are reading these days.  She didn't seem to interested last year when I got her some of my old favorites so I need help from someone with a little girl! She's in first grade, definitely just in the easy reader stage but is coming along nicely in reading and might be ready for a challenge.  She likes princesses a lot, ballerinas some, sports and the like not at all.  Any ideas and/or deals?

Maybe Angelina Ballerina? My 6yo daughter liked these. They are about a little mouse who takes ballet and there are several in the series.
