Thanks for the reminder!  A friend of mine was up for a Golden Heart award but she didn't win.  I meant to remember to check the winner tonight.

Woo-woo for the Kristan Higgins!! Some I've never heard of, a couple I don't care for, but I 100% agree with the Higgins choice.

The only one I have a problem with is "What Happens in London" as the best Regency.  I mean, really?  seriously?  IMO that's the prom queen, most popular choice......

I'm with Seton, let us never speak of the Quinn win again. To say nothing of the three-in-a-row-hall-of-fame thing.

+100 for me.  I hated that Quinn book.  It sucked and I don't mean c**k.

I really liked What Happens in London. Maybe I'm missing why it sucked.  I also really like Not Quite A Husband.

I am a huge huge Quinn fan and even I was puzzled by that one.  It's my least favorite of all her books.  It's just so cutesy, saccharin, fake, cheesy.  I thought she returned to some of her Bridgerton form with Ten Things...it was much better, but I still think How to Marry a Marquis/To Catch an Heiress are her best.

Happy for Sherry Thomas and Not Quite A Husband!

Thanks for posting Dawn! I haven't heard of some of this (off to add the Higgins to one of my lists). I haven't read the Quinn but I was surprised with that win. A lot of fans were displeased with it!

I almost PIMP laughing at this Pamela! LOL!

Anyone who hasn't already, add Kristan Higgins to your list! She is FABULOUS! I am stuck right now...I just read her latest, and it was so good, I can't seem to get into any other book I have! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HER to anyone thinking of her!

My problem with What Happens in London is that it didnt have much of a plot and the H/h and their romance (what there was of it) was juvenile.

To me, Kristan Higgins is chick-lit, not real romance. She is technically a good writer tho.

Yea, seton....that's exactly the word I was looking for...juvenile.
