Has everyone added Margaret George's newest to your wishlist? The title is "Elizabeth I".

I've added it, even though I'm terribly disappointed that she chose to do Elizabeth. Hasn't there been enough books about Elizabeth?! She says that her novel is different because it focuses on the last half of her reign which is really when the Elizabethan Age began to bloom, unlike most other Elizabeth novels which seem to focus more on the early years and Essex. The link below is her post about it, and I guess it really does sound as if she has something original to write about, but I was so hoping on someone else from George, anyone else.

Another one I'll definitely want to try -

Queen By Right by Anne Easter Smith - http://www.paperbackswap.com/book/details/9781416550471-Queen+By+Right

It's about Cecilly Neville, someone who has not been done to death, yay!

The Irish Princess by Karen Harper - http://www.paperbackswap.com/book/details/9780451232823-The+Irish+Princess

Harper says it's about "Elizabeth Fitzgerald, the uncrowned princess of Ireland". Sounds good!

True. But is Easter Smith the right author? I'd love to see SKP tackle this. Or Susan Higginbotham.

This could be very bad for my WL!  But at least I should be further up on the wl, so I get to read them sooner-thanks to all in advance who keep this updated.  Looking forward especially to the Karen Harper.  "Mistress Shakespeare" was good-still waiting for the others.....
