I can't make a banner really, but I know that you can easily make them online places...however, I'm also not sure how to put them into my profile...I could figure it out if you wanted me to though, just let me know :)

I know how to put them in your profile. You copy the banner to you pictures on your PC. Go to My settings page on PBS, go to upload images and you pull it in from your picture file on your PC.

Challenge newbie:) I'm assuming, a book can only be used in one category, eg. Showdown in Mudbug,  either be used in Paranormal Who Dunits  or Ghosts and Necromancers, correct?

I'm in - I'm really curious to see if this will actually change my reading choices much near the end of the year, or not! (I may be kidding myself here...)

Les - it's your challenge, so you decide.  I read enough books that finding a different book for each entry won't be hard.  But - I'm thinking about substituting the Mystery category with Zombies.  I like those a lot better!

Generally only use a book once per category. I put in only 10 out of 12 categories to complete challenge. I know not everyone likes all categories.

I am in the Historical fiction, and mystery challeges too. You all know I am addicted to swaps so my books choices will be around what works for swaps. I also run the book group at our church. Can't get them to read paranormal.

Hi everyone!  I made a banner, but I'm not sure how to insert it.  Here's my first attempt... Well, I've got it in this post, but can't insert it in my settings pics!  I'm such a newb!

Christina,

Generally what I do is save the banner on my harddirve in pictures, go to settings, in the signature are upload the image. and say updated. When I try it with this one it won't work. I have no idea why. Maybe someone else can try it and let us know what to do.

I think the file may be too big!  I can try messing around with the picture again and see if I can fix it, but I won't have time until next weekend.  Sorry :(

Yes, Christina, your file is too big.  It's about 460 x 49, so I saved it to my computer and then resized it to 280x49 and it worked.  It's a great banner.  Thanks.
