Starting January 26, 2014, the MEDIA rate for 1 lb. will increase from $2.53 to $2.69. Sorry, I don't know what the rates will be for heavier packages.

When I first joined, in 2008, it was $1.90!! Seems like they are raising media mail more than 1st Class. Assume all the on-line retailers will raise their rates accordingly. Oh well, it's still cheaper than buying new, used or even e-books.

Marla - They're raising 1st Class by 2 cents for 1 OUNCE. They're raising media by 16 cents for up to 1 POUND.
