I have started No Farm, No Foul (Farmer's Daughter, Bk 1) :: Peg Cochran    It is a new series, set in Michigan. Okay so far but is it not overwhelming me, with that said I have only read the first chapter.

I was cooking breakfast this morning.  All right pick yorself up off the floor I do cook on occasion.  It made me think of some cozies I've read lately.  The MC (female) in the story meets a new guy.  He escorts her home and offers to cook them a meal.  She tells him she doesn't have a lot of food.  In turn he opens her refrigerator and finds, eggs, bacon and all types of veggies to make a terrific omelet.  Now, If I had a guy come in and offer to make me a meal he'd find the eggs and the bacon but not a veggie in sight except in a can.  Sometime he wouldn't even find the eggs or bacon either.  Lucky if he found milk for the cereal.  Now PB&J are always on hand.  LOL 

In fact if he came over this evening he wouldn't find the eggs or bacon but he would find a hot dog.

It is privately published cozy. It is well done. Writing is better than many of the independants. Set in Massachusetts to I am enjoy some of the local jargon.

I think I'd be gaining weight just reading about eclairs and cupcakes.  When I read about that stufff I WANT that stuff.

That's okay Margaret, I haven't finished yet either.  Still have one category to finish--but I WILL finish it before the end of the year.  That was yelling for determination.   When I went on vacation I got a little sidetracked with my Kindle and have been reading several romances along with my other books.  Most are novellas and read quickly.  I need to get back in the groove.  Will try and post what I've been reading later today.

Una, remember when you told me I should be reading my eBooks?  Read 26 so far this month.    More than tree books.

And, you do have a month and a half to gp before the year is over.
