I am still trying to fill in the fashion category for this years challenge. I found this one in my pile of cozies that will fit nicely.

A Toxic Trousseau (Witchcraft, Bk 8) :: Juliet Blackwell

I enjoy this series. Love the pig Oscar.

Just curious on how everone did with this year's challenge. Where you able to find books. Fashion and weather has been tough for me. still more time to finish up. I have at least one in each category.

Weather was the toughest category for me.  I just finished it up the end of November which completed the main challenge.  Just finished Look Both Ways by Carol Perry and used it for the state bonus category.  I was surprised that it had such a low rating (although there were only two ratings) as I thought the book was pretty good and gave it four stars.  I might have been a tad generous, probably only really deserved a 3 1/2, but I'm looking forward to the next book which comes out next month, so that says something.

Fashion was a bit dicey for me but no proble with weather.  A blizzard here a hurricane there.  If someone is looking for a Rhode Island book try Cliffhanger / Amy Saunders.  Not a terrific book but the first of a series and I haven't finished it but leaning toward looking for the second.

I have a lot to read this month if I want 5 in every category!

I only have 2 read in fashion and 1 in historical. I have 3 in "end of series" and weather, but as soon as the semester is officially over I can take a full day or two to read, and so I may do it yet! Part of the problem is that I have read a lot of other cozies because I am reading certain series, and they didn't fit in these categories and the categories they did fit in were already full.

I am starting A Ghostly Murder (Ghostly Southern, Bk 4) :: Tonya Kappes  that will give me another on latest book in a series catalog (next book in this series comes out Dec 27th so good thing I am reading it now!!)

I have enjoyed this series a lot. I like our main character Emma Lee a lot. she has spunk.

I'm actually not too worried about the end of series category. I have read the first two in a series of three, and I have the last one, it has just been sitting... and I am halfway through book two of a different three-book series, so that won't be a problem.

Not as good as the first one so far, MC is getting ditzier. One of my big complaints with cozy

Hey cozy gals!

I finished the challenge for the year & just wanted to thank you all for your participation.  Because of you, I found several new-to-me authors and series that I am reading and enjoying.

Happy New Year!

Sandy
