Our ranks seem to have been depleted this year.  Is there any interest in a 2016 HF Challenge?  If so, does anyone want to take the reins?  I don't mind coming up with a challenge, but if someone wants to take a stab at it, please do! smiley

I failed miserably at completing this year's challenge but I love new beginnings, so yeah, I am interested in participating.

Yes,  I'd like to see a challenge in 2016.  Not everyone finishes but that's ok.  The HF challenges here great!

I do enjoy the reading challenges too and I hope we have another one in 2016.

I would love a challenge. I'm not vocal in discussing them generally, but I have done them for years.  I keep track of them the old fashioned way (in a notebook - figure future generations might want to know what I read and why and what I thought of it), but near the end of the year I'll go in and upated my post in the thread.

It certainly doesn't have to be elaborate.  One year we did a plain old alphabet challenge, and to this day I do a personal one every year.  Other years we've just had some categories.  I certainly don't want to lead the charge, but if whoever ends up doing it would rather keep it very simple, I, for one, won't mind.  The more complex ones are fun too, but I know they are a lot of work for whoever has to come up with them, get all the threads set up, answer questions, etc.

BTW, I've been largely MIA this year.  Who have we completely lost to GoodReads?  Is Deb still around?  Christa?  Linda and Kelly?

Hi, Kids!

Linda & I are still around and we pop in fairly regularly, even though we don't post very often.

Carolyn, I'm with the rest of the group ... I love the challenges; they keep me focused and motivated and give structure to my reading list. AND, if you are willing to take it on again this year, then my vote is Please do!

I like doing the challenge even if I don't complete all the categories. It's fun going through what's lying around and using them up for the challenge.

I love the challenge...it really fires me up for a new year of reading, even if I don't end up finishing. smiley  I did fairly well this year, considering the year I've had.  So..yes, please Carolyn!!
