Just read Killer Cupcakes (Lexy Baker Bakery, Bk 1) by Leighann Dobbs. Really enjoyed it.  Quick, cute, fun, fast paced, read.  All the cozy elements on a most simplistic level.

Finished Give 'Em Pumpkin to Talk About (Pumpkin Patch, Bk 1) by Joyce & Jim Lavene.  This was a really fun read, but bittersweet as there won’t be anymore in the series, as it was a great start.  I really enjoyed the character development and find myself wishing for the next phase of the story.  Guess I will have to make up my continuing story line.

Just reviewing the cozies I read in 2017...wow I read 40 which is a lot for me!  My favorites were Daisies for Innocence  by Bailey Cattrell and Hearse and Buggy by Laura Bradford.  Both of these had a strong sense of place and very likable characters.  I'm looking forward to reading more of both of these series.  I read a lot of others that were pretty good, but these were my favorites.  What books did others in this group particularly enjoy reading this year?  Would love to see your favorites!!

Hey Janice! Do they do that alot? I just finished The Telltale Turtle by them and REALLY enjoyed it! Made me laugh several times....but it is the only one , with lots of room for more! But no sequels....sad

Yay, I finished my goals in this challenge! I read the last book on 12/30 (started and finished, I admit it was very short!). Better than last year, where I started my last one on 12/31/2016 and had to finish it in 2017.

Now I am excited to start reading for the 2018 challenge!
