Continuing the march through the Breeds!

  1. Styx's Storm [Breeds] by Lora Leigh - REALLY wasn't a fan of this one.  The woman was just too winey and obstinant
  2. Navarro's Promise [Breeds] by Lora Leigh - This one was better :)

Continuing the Breeds:

  1. Hot Spell (Anthology)
  2. Stygian's Honor [Breeds] by Lora Leigh

Okay, I'm really about done with the breeds!  I really would like to see some serious progression in the metastory while we are watching the couples hook up.  At least there seems to be a bit of progress going again after it stalled out for a while...

This week I read:

  1. Smoke and Iron [The Great Library] by Rachel Caine - I can't wait to see how everything shakes out in the final conclusion.  Some bits still had me guessing!
  2. Beggar's Rebellion [Resonant Saga] by Levi Jacobs - this book is written by my dear cousin, and I really liked it!  The book has some flavors of Jim Butcher's Codex series and some Star Wars to me, people with abilities, opressive government taking over native peoples, a rebellion - a little bit of everything!

Busy reading week:

  1. Shades of Wicked [Night Rebel] by Jeaniene Frost - I just love this world, her writing, everything about this series!!!!
  2. Wild Card [Wildcats] by Rachel Vincent - A decent addition to the series, but, a bit sudden with the coupling.
  3. Serpentine [Anita Blake] by Laurell K. Hamilton - a move back towards the older style of these books - lots of personal growth for charactors too

And this week we added:

  1. Crave the Night [Midnight Breed] by Lara Adrian - I was really enjoying this series when I ran out of the books in it.  Now I got this one and it seemed rather flat to me - too predictable and linear.
  2. Leopard's Run [ Leopards] by Christine Feehan - typical of the series - everyone falls for each other too quickly, too easily overcomes the issues between them.

I am reading Nightchaser by Amanda Bouchet. I really liked King Maker Chronicles series. This one not so much. I was hopeful in the begining for an interesting sci-fi book, but turned into a soppy romance.
