I keep hearing about  Katie  MacAlister.  I've been meaning to put up a thread about this author, what is her writing like?  Is she any good?  Which author(s) would you consider her writing to be most similar to?  And if  you do like her writing, which book(s) would you suggest  I try out?  Thanks!

Katie MacAlister is a funny, fast read.  Her characters often find themselves in very slapstick situations and I often laugh out loud when I read her books (something I don't normally do)!  My favorite by her is The Corset Diaries; it's a contemporary, but even her historicals and paranormals are great!  She writes under a few different names - you can go to her website and sample some writing.  I don't know who to compare her to - maybe a funnier Lynsay Sands?
