Is anyone else trying this? I have TWC, so I get it on-demand for free.  I've ready some great things, so I thought I'd try it.

Oh, Dear Lord.

This thing kicked my butt.  I had to take breaks.  I am pathetically out of shape, but I can tell that it will work, if I keep with it.  I'm going to recommend it for anyone, as there are a lot of modifications.  This is the "Biggest Loser" work out, from what I've heard.  I love it.

It's not The Biggest Loser workout. This is a workout from Jilian Michaels and I probably wouldn't suggest it to anyone who is out of shape. I sometimes put it between my workout and let me tell ya, I am in shape and pretty much done afterwards. :-) As far as I know it it more for people trying to lose the last 5-10 pounds. :-)

Ok.  I hadn't really looked into it much.  I just found it this morning on the TV.  lol. And if it's a challenge for in-shape people, maybe I'm not as bad off as I thought.  I don't have a whole lot of weight to lose, so I'm pretty much focusing on getting in better shape.  I think this will do it, mixed in with other work-outs.  Maybe only do this every other day to start, and do easier videos on my off days...

I bought the dvd and love it!  I was all ready to bump myself up to level 2 when the holidays came along.......... so now I'm sure I be right back a barely able to finish level 1 beginner.  But I always felt soooo good after doing it, tired, shaky, and rubber-leggy but good!

I don't see any reason anyone (with medical ok) couldn't do this.  It is something you 'work up to.'  I wouldn't expect anyone to go straight to level 3.  As Jillian says "She's got 400lb people that can do jumping jacks, so can you"

i really like it. i also love that she knows just when i'm about to poop out and starts yelling at me to keep going, and that if you plan to work for 20 min, you have to work hard. :) i've done the 1st one, have watched the 2nd, but haven't been courageous enough to try it!

I have this on dvd but I use the on demand.  It kicks my butt every time but in a good way.  I have been on level one for a week now.

I've kept up with it for a few days, and it is getting easier, but I still can't quite do all of it.  I cut the last little bit off most of the exercises. I have 8 days before moving up, so I've got to get my butt in gear.  I love the exercises, though.  So much fun.  And I enjoy feeling tired afterwards.

I just bought it over the weekend, have done it once, and love it! I agree w/Margo--I can barely do it but I can tell it will work!

I tried it but found it a little too intense. I like her frontside/backside dvd's the best :) Not too fast but still a challenge

She just released two more workouts which are fun and make me break out into a thread. One is specifially targeting the troublezones and works wonderfully for me. Hubby went on a business trip for two weeks and couldn't believe that my muffin tops have vanished in just a short period of time. :-)

You should add those to your workout regimen. I like them more than the shred. :-)

KMP, that's a good idea, I'll see if I can find them. Been doing the shred on alternate days for over a week now, my weight is going up (muscle?) but it is getting a little easier....
