It's perfect for the Christian "church-going" type mother. I bought it for my Jewish friend and didn't realize it was so denominational until I got it home! (Needless to say, if you're getting it for a gift, keep in mind that it's NOT nondenominational.) There are 365 insights for each day of the year. Here's one (Day 107): "Tell your baby how much you love her and how happy you are that God gave her to you. He picked the very best baby just for you!"
I guess it's good, but I couldn't get past all the religion.LOL

This is a wonderful book for a New Mom as each day presents a new opportunity for mom to bond with baby. The exercises the author presents are simple and each daily entry is very short, so you can read it while in the bathroom before baby wakes up. It's a wonderful gift for a new Mom. A great source of encouragement and a beacon of light as it shines the path laid out before this new season of Motherhood.
