Another great read by Herbert. Set after World War II, it's about an apocolyptic battle of those who survived a plaque engineered by Hitler--a classic "good against evil" tale.

Herbert, the master of details, puts a different spin on a) the outcome of WWII, and b) "vampires" of a different ilk. Interesting slants to both.

took a bit to get into this one but when I did I couldnt put it down! The end of the world as we know it after world war II. Hitler sends bombs armed with the Blood Death. Only certain blood types live and the apocalypse has one hero who can save the day. Great fun to read, lots of action, doesnt slow once it gets going!!
