I had printed out a PBS label with delivery confirmation....charged me an extra $.50 for some kind of fee?  Is this new?  Thanks.

Hi Christine,

It isn't new, just reinstated.  There was information about the fee in your January PBS Newsletter.

There is a .55 cent charge with using PBS Postage. It has always been there as it covers the delivery confirmation fee and the credit assurance. Gold Key Members get the fee waived once a month.

Thank you very much Mary S.  I did read the newsletter, but did not go all the way to the bottom.  I checked my old mail and found the January newsletter and read the entire thing.  Thank you so very much for the reply.  Next time I guess I will have to read the entire thing!

Thank you also Rebecca.  Yes I knew about the $.55 charge.  Mary S. above explained how it was reinstated.  Thank you very much for your help!

The fee that was reinstated was the transaction fee for the kiosk. (when you buy PBS Money, Credits, etc.)  PBS Postage always had a fee as the site needs to pay the provider of the postage.

I usually purchase a lot of postage at once, so it's not so bad.  That way I'm not charged per book, as it were.
