Reacher can really get into some situations, this time he gets on a tour bus with senior citizens just hitching a ride because it is winter time in the Dakotas and freezing, but he has no idea they would skid and get stranded in a town with biker trouble and he ends up in the middle of it----again---I really like Jack Reacher, he doesn't have a care in the world and travels with only what is on his back but his military training is always a huge help in every situation he gets in.

This novel was pretty lame. I had put this on my wish list before I read the last one so when it arrived, I read it despite my notion that this series is spent. Even the other reviews on this web site mention the way it "slows down" and is "repetitive" yet they still give it good reviews. If I wanted to read a slow, repetitive book I would at least expect skillful prose or insightful commentary. The 61 hours of the title is an amateurish writing trick to try to instill some excitement for the reader. It is like Lee child watched Jack Bauer but didn't get the idea. Would I read the next one? Maybe. I sure would not buy it. I do not even think I would use a PBS credit for it. Sounds harsh, but that is my unvarnished opinion.

Jack Reacher, the man with no address, no luggage, new clothes every few days, no vehicle, and apparently no direction. He manages to find trouble wherever he goes and always solves any problems he encounters. This particular book leads you to believe he may have met his end this time. Find out? Buy the next book.

If you are a Fan of Lee Child and ("Bad A**), ex Major Jack Reacher. . .theres no need for me to go on !! As long as Lee keeps writing, I will be reading.

Great story this one is, Im no fan of cold and snow, but still a good read. Maybe a little far fetched, but, Hey, thats what it takes sometimes to really make it good.

This is a fast read, too.. . .but Im that way with these.

And the ending !!!!! OMG, lets just say, Im buying his next one as soon as its ready, No PBS, LOL!!
