Where was this book when I was raising 4 teenage girls? This book is right on in regards to teenage girls and their reasoning/non-reasoning. Having survived raising girls and offering assistance and advice as teenage granddaughter were raised, I really enjoyed this book.

This book was given to my DH as a gift. However, he's not a reader, so I decided not to let a book 'go to waste', so I read it. I don't know if it was b/c this was targetted to males/fathers, but the author's humor ran out on me quite quickly & it became annoying. Maybe a male reader would appreciate this more.
In 8 Simple Rules for Dating My Teenage Daughter, humorist W. Bruce Cameron takes us blow by blow, shriek by shriek, through the process of raising teenagers, an experience he says is similar to "blunt force trauma." It's a survival guide written by a man who has lived among teenagers and has the credit card bills to prove it.
