Has anyone read "Mortal Danger". I am curious to know what you thought about the book.  I'm almost done reading it and I can say that I was disappointed.  I still like it when she writes one story per book rather than 3-4.  It wasn't really a page-turner for me either. What about you?

I started reading "Mortal" but got bored.  I agree with you, I like when Ann focuses on one story at a time.  If you haven't read "And Never Let Her Go" or "Every Breath You Take", I suggest you do.  Very interesting and I couldn't put either book down.

Kiss Me Kill Me is really good as well. I've had a very hard time putting it down.

Mortal Danger is on my WL.

There are some of her books I like better than others, but I am never sorry I read one of her books.

I think her earlier books were better.....they were written more like a novel.---not to mention l-o-n-g-e-r!

The books she writes now seem to have just Facts/Figures w/no feeling! heh

I also don't like the 3-4-5 stories -per-book....I think it's a cop-out and an easy-money grab from her loyal fans..

I liked the first couple of stories...but I got bored with the last few.  I prefer more current crimes..I wouldn't miss reading one of her books..but I didn't love it.

I guess I'm in the minority here, because I like her short stories better than her long stories.  The longer stories go into way too much background info. and I lose interest.  The worst one was Everything She Ever Wanted.  I did not enjoy that one at all.  That story could have been told in half as many pages, and in my opinion, shouldn't have been told at all.  Much more interesting stories out there to write about.
