I absolutely loved this book! Humor, emotion, drama, sensuality and a good storyline. This is one author I will continue to read!
Interesting story of dragon shapeshifters with likable characters that make you laugh.
I so adore my arrogant dragons, and Briec the Mighty is no disappointment! Aiken's characters are vibrant and easy to love. She does such a wonderful job of painting them, that you become attached and look forward to reading each one's story. Her humor is infectious:
"The large, round, and juicy fruit slammed into Gwenvael's head with unrelenting force. 'Ow! What was that for?' 'Accident,' she snarled."
"Fearghus's tail slapped him so hard in the snout, he actually saw stars for a moment. 'Ow! What was that for?' 'Accident.'"
"Reaching up, she grabbed one of his nipples and twisted. 'Ow! What was that for?' 'Accident,' she bellowed.."
Makes you giggle all the way through!
