Perfect town, sensible unmarried Sunday School teacher, orphaned boy - mix thoroughly. Then try and add the boy's long-lost uncle, a big-city cop and watch the feathers fly! Very enjoyable.
This is book 1 of a trilogy. Wonderful family in the trilogy. Gotta read all 3.
Good Read about a sensible spinster who takes in a troubled boy and then the social workers locate an unknown uncle. Everyone assumes that Daisy and Walker are living in sin and Daisy's job is in jeapardy. Walker and his nephew get involved in stopping drug smuggling. There is also a side romance of Daisy's father and the social worker who have known each other a long time and finally realize they like more than locking horns with each other.
Home...sometimes it's where you're born and sometimes it's where you build.
Humorous, intense, romance, a good all-around read.
Daisy finds a troubled boy in her garage and is willing to fight for him. If only his long lost uncle weren't so attractive. A good, fun read.
