This is the first novel I've read by Ann Christopher. She crafts an intriguing story, the title alone is eye-catching, but I just didn't find it as entertaining as it could have been. I thought the tale could have been told in less pages, it was definitely a little wordy, at times, but all and all it was still an interesting read. I found myself putting the novel down at times and having to make myself go back to finish it. ”
