I would like to try to read this series, but I can't seem to find anywhere that has the books listed in order.  Can anyone help me with at least the first couple??

Thanks!!

My daughter and I loved the series:

1-Twilight

2- New Moon

3-Eclipse

4-Breaking Dawn

Hope you enjoy the series!

So let me get this straight, now she's never going to release or finish midnight sun?  Because someone else leaked it , all of her fans have to suffer?

This is cut n pasted from stepheniemeyer.com:

June 2008 Update: In response to the outrageous number of emails that I have received with questions concerning Midnight Sun, I talked to Stephenie this weekend and she asked me to let everyone know that Midnight Sun is her next project. She has not yet finished writing it (and there is no timeline set up, so we all need to put a lot of effort into being patient for a while longer), but she is definitely still planning on having it published. And, after Breaking Dawn comes out, Stephenie will have much more time to focus on writing Midnight Sun.

Yes, but this is what she said at the end of August 2008:

So where does this leave Midnight Sun? My first feeling was that there was no way to continue. Writing isn't like math; in math, two plus two always equals four no matter what your mood is like. With writing, the way you feel changes everything. If I tried to write Midnight Sun now, in my current frame of mind, James would probably win and all the Cullens would die, which wouldn't dovetail too well with the original story. In any case, I feel too sad about what has happened to continue working on Midnight Sun, and so it is on hold indefinitely.

Wow, that is really sad.  It sounds like she is really devistated over what some asshat did.

I really like the Twlight series but to be honest her last comment really turns me off.  She sounds like a whiney brat.  Her fun was spoiled therefore she's not going to share?  Grow up.

I liked the Twilight books too but I am NOT a Stephenie Meyer fan.  I was one of the people that absolutely hated the last book and pretend that the series ended with Eclipse. Everything she said in response to people who didn't like it made me like her less and less. She actually said that everyone would come around and eventually like it because no one liked Robert Pattinson in Edward's role at first either. Why not just accept that some people didn't like it instead of saying that of course, they'll change their minds?  Her head got way too big too fast.

Yeah, I'm totally annoyed about what she said about Midnight Sun.  What, you made your money off your fans and now they can go screw themselves.  You're too UPSET.  Shut your mouth.  While your traveling all over the world and buying whatever the hell you want off of your fans, we're sitting here upset because you're too selfish to finish a book we would like to read.

I also find it very hard to believe that she never read any other vampire books before writing Twilight. I have read so many since then that have very similar themes and events that came out way beforehand.  No one else denies reading books in their genre before they started writing.

I'm another one of those people who hated Breaking Dawn. The first three were books were readable (not keepers, but good as filler), but Breaking Dawn went off in some crazy directions, and the prefect-right-out-of-the-gate vampire Bella was just too rediculous for me (and I'm not going to get into the crazy-named super-baby). I'm not even the least bit interested in the next book.

Think her decision to give up on Midnight Sun (for now) has anything to do with the amount poor reception she got from Breaking Dawn, which she had not really expierenced with her other books? Not that she doesn't have multitudes of die-hard fans, but some authors can't seem to handle the criticism, and the more popular the harsher the criticism. I honestly don't see how she can save the series after the mess Breaking Dawn was anyway, but she'd still have her die-hards and they obviously are still interested in reading about these guys.

Marie, I would honestly suggest you don't read it.  I truly wish it had never happened. Believe me, you can make a much better ending in your head than what happens in the book.  I cannot imagine them making a movie out of that one either!

Sarah, I think you are right about her not releasing it because of the criticism.  It's good to see someone else that didn't like it because most of the time I feel way outnumbered.
