I honestly can't remember too much about this book other then the irritating use of the title throughout the book. Do I think this book stunk? Absolutely, Positively.

I just finished Absolutely Positively by: Jayne Ann Krentz a few minutes ago. I really enjoyed this book... I don't know if I've ever read one where the h/h just trusted each other and built their relationship in such a straight forward way. I don't want anyone to misunderstand - This book wasn't in any way boring. It had great character development and the plot was non-stop gripping. A perfect book for when you're "darked out". That's the phrase I use for my state when I've read my quota of dark, heavy books and need something to relieve the tension.
That said, this is a romantic suspense with a murder attempt and paranormal elements. It isn't a comedy at all, although there was a normal amount of humorous dialog. Just like you would have with a friend you could kid around with. A few giggles. This book did NOT wrench my heart out and toss it in the food processor.
I'm trying to give a feel for the book without telling about the story. I'm not about to give anything away because one thing I loved about this book is the way I was fed little bits at a time. It kept me on the edge of my seat. I'm concerned this description makes the book sound boring. It isn't at all.

Wow, was that vague enough for everyone? Read the book. It's really good.

Molly Abberwick is frustrated with the consultant she hired to approve grants through her late father's foundation. Dr. Harry Stratton Trevelyn has read hundreds of proposals and has rejected every one. Molly finds him impossible to work with, except for the fact that he is brilliant, sexy, and has asked her on a date. Harry has his own problems. He is caught between the two sides of his family...trying to keep the family feud from getting out of control. As Molly and Harry get to know each other better, Molly becomes the target of a stalker. It's up to Harry to figure out what is going on before things get violent.

This is a contemporary romance that has Krentz' usual hero and heroine with their wacky family members. I had a hard time warming up to the characters and was bored with the story. It was very slow paced. My rating: 2 Stars.
