Accelerated reader books are regular books with a grade level point assigned to them, can you please tell me the rule or the link to it that says they are not postable?

Or are you talking about ADVANCED reader books?  I am sure English is not my first language but I think advanced and accelerated are not the same thing  - ??

From Wikipedia:

"An advance copy, also known as an advance reading copy or ARC, is a copy of a book released by its publisher before the book has gone to press for a complete printing. ARCs generally do not have the final dust jacket, formatting or binding of the finished product; the text of an ARC may also differ from that of the published book if the book is edited after the ARC is produced. ARCs are normally distributed to reviewers, bookstores, magazines, and (in some cases) libraries between three and six months before the book is officially released."

An accelerated reader is a book that the shool libraries have. My children check them out at the school library then take a test on them. They are no different then the copy you would buy in the store. They just have grade levels assigned to the book so the teachers and children can know what grade level they are for.

Hope this helps!

Accelerated Reader is an elementary/middle school reading system with reading levels &  points assigned to regular books.  There are thousands of childrens/young adult books listed on the AR list now.  I have quite a few on my shelf too.  AR is a reading incentive program that schools subscribe to.  It allows the children to read a book, go online and take a test on it(reading comprehension and vocabulary) and score points which can be redeemed at some point.  Our school is doing that this year....Its expensive for the school(Our PTA paid for it) but they are very excited about it.
