I have a book that has been requested but I am worried about sending it out.  One of the pages has a small black spot in the margin.  I really don't believe that it is a stain but ink from the printing process.  Would anybody else think that way or would they consider it to be unpostable?  Looking for some feedback.

Thanks,

Denise

If it does not render the type unreadable, i would venture that it is postable. I have certainly received and sent books with printer's errors, and I believe I read somewhere in the Help Center that it is acceptable as long as it does not interfer with readability.

I have mailed books before with small printing ink splotches without any issues.

I believe it to be postable as well. As long as it does not cover text.

I've received several, but I haven't reposted any of them, as like you, I've worried they would be RWAP'd.

I've received books like that before and reposted them with no problem. Just as long as it doesn't obscure the print and its not a stain then its fine. If in doubt you could always PM the requester first.

LOL , I am having the same issue with a new book. Looks like big coffee drips over several pages, but it is imbedded in the paper. I did not notice until I read the book..  I had no trouble reading the pages, but I don't want an RWAP

You can always pm the person who requests it and make sure that they don't have an issue with it.  Safe better than sorry.
