So, I'm down to one credit  :(  Is it acceptable to "advertise" my books on the boards?  Just asking people to check them out and see if there's anything they'd like to order?  I'm shameless!

Thanks!

Yes, it is acceptable, but preferable in the Book Bazaar forum.  I found myself this desperate recently, as well:)

Try running a deal.  Don't pimp your shelf in the genre boards unless you want a bunch of posts and pms about how they belong in the book bazaar.

You can also add something to your signature too and that will show whereever you post in the forums.

Just remember to only create one post in the Book Bazaar... and only bump it once a day.  If you have a "real" message to add... you can add messages to it... but if there is nothing to add of "real" data... you don't want to bump it back to the top.  Hope that made sense :  )

The book bazaar gives me headaches. Too busy in there, so I gave up on advertising on that forum.   I like the signature idea, and have something in "my" siggy as well.

I had better success having a 2 for 1 deal in my siggy and being a frequent poster than I did when I ran a 3 for 1 deal in the bazaar.

Hi Lynn,  I stopped by your shelf today and ordered a few books.  I hope you can use the credits to find something interesting.  I did notice that most of the books on your shelf are older books with quite a few in the system.  It may be your best option to offer a 2 for 1 in the book bazaar and advertise it for say.. Faye Kellerman fans as you have quite a few of her books.  I know when I was reading that series I would have jumped at a deal.  Then once you get those books moving you can replace them with newer ones and keep your "inventory" moving.

Good Luck !!  And have fun !!
