Someone accepted my WL request, but it simply says "Accepted".  It doesn't state the date the sender will mail by.  Is this new?  Or why do I not know the date the sender agreed to send the book by.  The label has not been printed yet, does that matter?

Last I accepted a request, I had to pick the date I would mail by, and I assumed that info was passed on to the requestor.  Hmmm.

I think that you get this message when the person clicks on the "can mail within 2 days" option, but doesn't print the label.  So, they are still obligated to the 2 day time frame (although of course I think they get more like 3 or 4 days in reality).  Hope that helps.

Lisas right. From the HC

  • If the sender clicks "I can mail in the next 2 days" the Status of the transaction on the request on the requestor's  account page will read "Accepted".
  • If a sender clicks "I can mail later" the status of the transaction on the request on the requestor's  account page will show "Will Mail by:" and the alternate mailby date chosen.
  • How long does a sender have to mail the book after accepting a request?

Julie:

It does show only accepted until the label is printed.  Once that is printed it should give you the details as to when it should be mailed, when it was mailed, and when the expected receive date is.  I don't believe it will change until then though.  For instance, if they accepted the book that they would mail in the next 5 days, they can wait until those 5 days to print the label and until that label is printed it will only show "Accepted".

Hope this helps, too.
