...that when I look at my account and I see that a WL book says "Waiting for Member", the system has notified the member that a book on their shelf has been requested but the member has not yet responded? And when it says "Accepted", the member has actually clicked the "I can mail" button but has not yet printed a label? In one instance, the member may or may not have seen that they have a pending transaction while in the other, the member has actually acknowledged a pending transaction? Is that how that works?

Yes, I would say that is correct.  If you have the WL book on auto-request I think it gives an hour for you to cancel it.  In that time, the member may have logged off and didn't get the notice yet.  Once they click "I can mail" I believe it goes into "Accepted" status.  I'm waiting on two myself :-)

Thanks, Suzanne. That's what I thought. I have had three books in the past three or four books "time out" AFTER the book has been accepted. I assume that means the member said that he/she would mail the book and then, for some reason, it wasn't mailed. No PM or other explanation. Weird. I am on day 4 of another "Accepted" book that has no action on it. **sigh**
