Heather -- I can't imagine that he will; you're right, from what I've read so far, that would be awful.  When is Archeron coming?

The book is coming out August 5th I believe!  I can't wait!  I just hope it can live up to the hype - I mean Acheron and the love of his life?  That is a daunting book to write PLUS we get his history!  I even decided to go to her K-Con this year just because it was THE YEAR OF ACHERON. :)

And Artemis is horrid but you need her horridness to understand the sacrifices that Acheron makes.   But I just can't see her being his ONE.

I lost excitement over this book a while ago, actually the whole series lost me at about #11.  It was just too much of the same stuff, stuff that wasn't making sense.  I never got in to the Dream Hunters, it was just too much.  I think the book that really did it for me was Zarek's story in Dance with the Devil (IIRC); it made no sense to me why he was exiled when Acheron knew he didn't do what he was accused of doing.

And 700 pages?  Give me a break; I just can't imagine 700 pages of DH stuff.

Maybe if I see this thing at the UBS, I might buy it.  Maybe.

700 pages, well the book was originally two books, which is why it is so long. One was his past, and one was his future....and now it's all one big book

Artemis will not be his woman, SK has given enough hints for this to be obvious.

and on a last note "When is Archeron coming?".....I think if I answered this how I wanted to I would be kicked off the forums :P

Naa ....You don't have to read the dream hunters before starting to read the dark hunters. for some reason i havent really cared for the dream hunter books although the last one wasnt that bad.

Sherrilyn Kenyon said at some point that the third Dream Hunter book introduces someone who will be important in Acheron's book.  this is the *only* reason i read the third Dream Hunter book, since i did not enjoy the first two even though i really like the Dark-Hunter series.  however, the third Dream Hunter book was finally decent.  so i'd say you might want to read the third one, but skip the first two.

I need to get caught up.  I'm only on Dark Side of the Moon!   And I've got Ash pre-ordered on Amazon so he'll show up on his own.

I cannot wait for Ash's book.  Now I don't want him to end up with Artie but they  have been trying to "warm you up" to her in the last couple of books so who knows what will happen there.  They just better keep Ash a loveable bad ass and not make him a pushover! lol

I read that ashs herione is introduced in the 1st dreamhunter book..the one invovling going to find alantis..there were a few girls introduced but the only one that made sense was the cousin whos name i cant remeber right now but she was compared to artie in the book in her looks.(the spoiled cousin not the younger geekier one)..
