Lesley and Sarah, if you guys check in here before you look at your inboxes today, I sooo screwed up your orders, and sent you each other's books.  Sarah got the Raven Prince trilogy today, and Lesley, I'm presuming you'll be getting her Loretta Chase book, Miss Wonderful.  I am so sorry you guys.  This is the first time I've ever done that and I feel awful about it.   Last time I ever smirk at somebody for screwing up orders, I swear...

If we can possibly work this out so you guys can mail those to each other, I'll reimburse you both for the postage with credits, books... a lifetime supply of beefcake bookmarks, whatever y'all want:P  Just let me know as soon as you're both aware of what happened.  Sarah already knows (she inboxed me) and she's going on vacation tomorrow, so if we could get addresses swapped or whatever today, that would be great.  Again, I am so, SO sorry!

Ugh, I did that and I swore it would never happen to me.  In fact, I still doubt as to whether or not it was really my fault.  Now that I think about it, I had checked before I wrapped because I was doing two orders at once and then I get a pm from the people stating that the orders were wrong.  I gave them back credits and never heard from them as to whether or not they switched the books among themselves.  Hmmmm, I wonder if that was a plot?

These are both WL orders, so I feel like a total moron.  And that's actually putting it nicely:P  I could kick myself.

Yeah -- it does stink.  But no use crying over spilt milk....or switched books.

But I remember thinking, ...."how could I be such an idiot ?"

I'll take the lifetime supply of beefcake bookmarks! lol

I will be gone for a week after tomorrow so it isn't a big rush to get my book to me as I am having the PO put my mail on hold anyways. And since I was already going to the PO I can ship Lesley's books then and you didn't even cost me an extra trip, Kim.  Plus I have like 10 books coming, so I am not desperate for reading material by any means. I've been a little too busy on PBS lately...

If it comforts you any, I once bought two CDS that had been autographed for different people by the artist, and I was super cautious about wraping them because I knew I might mix them up... and somehow I mixed them up anyway!  Talk about your self-fulfilling prophecies.

I've had to unwrap and reprint a label for a book because I almost sent it out to the wrong person. When you are wrapping and labeling a ton of books it can get messy.

I think this all happened the same day I had something like 12 books going out, and I had spent most of that day photoshopping and printing new bookmarks.  If this was all I screwed up I'll have to count myself fortunate:P

Kim, it's ok really!  I know I would probably feel horrible in your place too, but seriously, it's no big deal, and I do not want you feeling badly because of this.  My Mount TBR is so freaking high right now, that I wouldn't be getting to those books just yet anyway!  I will not allow you to beat yourself up about this, ok?  Luckily it was 2 of us from this forum rather than random FIFO orders, so you know we will get this straightened out.  Breathe easy!

And Lesley, I can tell you that Kim sent you a bookmark that is really, really nice to look at...it almost didn't make it to the post office with the books. lol

Kim, I think you picked the right two people to send the wrong books to! :P

Lol.  That's probably true:P  I can't remember which bookmarks I send to who after they get wrapped up, but I think both of you got beefcake, so it's all good:P  They might even be the same one.  I have lots more where those came from though, and I made a bunch more today.  I'll need more ink cartridges by the weekend at this rate:P

hey Kim, you're what I aspire to, so PLEASE don't berate yourself --- you're my hero!  And after I carried on about getting a book in awful shape, I SENT BOOKS SHORT ON POSTAGE!!!  I got Monica and another person.  I figured my whining karma was biting me in the butt.  Very embarrassing.

Don't feel bad Kim; everybody's done it at least once.  I once sent a box of 5 books to the wrong person!  The important thing is you are willing (and eager) to make it right.  I hate people who send you the wrong book and then assume you'll resend it without offering you a credit.  Unfair to lose your credit cuase of someone else's mistake.
