Good book for everyone, mainly because you don't see this treated as a subject for a full book. I had to grit my teeth a few times, since it is written for young adults and makes pretty broad generalizations. Also, it is wrong at some points (Roman Empire divided in two in the 3rd Century AD). The maps and drawings were pretty good, enough to give anyone a sense of adventure.
