This is an Unusual story which introduces the heroine as a blind infant found afloat after a storm off the coast of Scotland. She is raised in freedom and isolation by someone known to her only as Grandmother on the Island of Wild Horses. Years pass. A ship is wrecked during a violent storm, leaving a battle worn warrior on the beach. He brings the outside world filled with sorrow, pain, and political complications, forcing growth and change in all their lives. Some sizzle and zing!

The book could not keep my attention. I had to stop reading because it was boring and then pedictable. My someone else would like to read it and I did even make to the rescue.

Wow! I loved this book! It was refreshingly different from many other historical romances I have read.

This series is great. In this story our heroine is actually blind, but of course that lessens her appeal not at all. These stories are historical and sexy, what a combination.
