This is a really helpful book when you need to get organized and make a homemaking routine. These are the women that inspired the Fly Lady.

This book is wonderful!

As sisters Pam and Peggy explain, they think that organization is a genetic trait - one that they (and I) just don't have. The trouble with most organizational books and plans is that they were designed by naturally orderly people for other naturally orderly people. But Pam and Peggy overcame their disorganized genes and they explain how in this easy-to-understand book.

For once, an organization book is written by someone who naturally tends toward entropy, instead of those neat-freak authors who don't understand why Pam, Peggy, and I just can't seem to get it together. I highly recomend this book to anyone who just can't seem to get organized, despite their best intentions.

I liked the style of writing and the tips from women who've "been there, done that" was especially helpful. I am not BO (Born Organized), I am definitely a SHE (Side-tracked Home Executive). My mom, who is BO, didn't like the book as much, but she read it with me because we live together and it is helpful for her to understand where I'm coming from.

Our house is still a disaster, but we are working on it, one day at a time. Our house "did not get this way overnight, and it will not be fixed overnight," but we are committed to making it better.
