This book is helpful to the recovering alcoholic and/or family members. Vaughn W., the author, is a recovering alcoholic, and this is his personal perspective as he actually worked the Steps--his take upon each Step. This book is his experience of learning how to work the Steps in such a way as to be taken "out of himself" to a much different, healing perspective.
