Is there a way? or wouldn't it be cool? if we could post a list of damaged books when someone orders a book for you and they click on the button "See if you would like something  else from this bookshelf"  That way you are already mailing something to them and it would be easier and a treat to have some free books to choose from, from that person.

A lot of people use their notebook for this.  They will have a note like "one of these free with an order from my shelf" and list the titles that they have available .  Frequently they combine this with a note in their signature line.

But as far as a way to put it on the shelf - I don't think that exists.

I usually check peoples profiles when I'm ordering just to see if they have an unpostable I might want. I like having some around to take in the sauna or the bathtub.

Ok, again I am new. I went to check a person whose book I requested to see if they had any unpostables and man I was difficult to find their profile. It's not the same as name. How do you guys go about this? I clicked the PM member button on request i made, then got persons name then I went through the member directory looking for nickname to get in profile. Is there an easier way? Am i missing something?

He probably doesn't have a profile set up.  Not everyone does. If they have a profile, when you hit the PM button, you can click on their name and it'll bring you to their shelf and you can click on profile if they've set one up.  Some people just sign up and do the minimal book trading. They don't use the forums, post reviews or anything. They just trade books and don't see a need for a profile. I think it should be a requirement so that people can be found if there's a problem with wrong books being sent or something.  It doesn't have to be much, just enough so that they show up in the directory.
