My printer ran out of ink and it might be a bit before I can get more. Is it okay if I just hand address things for now? I know it asks when you mark recv'd if it was hand addressed or not and so I was wondering if this is a problem?

Thanks

Many books I receive are hand addressed. Not a problem.

I think you might have to go through the motions of printing a label even if only a blank one "prints."   That may be the only way to be able to mark the book mailed. I'm not 100% sure though.

You can hand address them.  You do have to click "Print Wrapper" but it only prints to Adobe, not to your printer.

Actually, you don't have to even download with Adobe. When you click the "Print Wrapper" button, if you scroll down near the bottom of the label page, there is an option for hand addressing. If you click there, it displays the address for you.

I really have no idea, but I think the "is it addressed by hand?" question thing is a statistical thing-- something like keeping track of whether books that are late took longer because they were hand-addressed OR tracking whether the label is really something that members actually USE.

I pretty much hand address all my book packages now and I haven't had any problems so far.
