There other programs that can be used to load Libray eBook into an eReader??   Adobe Digital Ed crashed on me today!!  I keep getting ERROR Codes!!

1st code says:  E_AUTH_BAD_DEVICE_KEY                          2nd code says:  E_ACT_TOO_MANY_ACTIVATIONS

I have 2 ADE acounts so help with either code be great!!    Yesterday both worked with both literati/s great.....today this code mess!  My son says NOT the eReaders its ADE software!

Have you googled the error codes?  That's what I do with any error code I can't figure out and it usually pulls up some computer forum somewhere where someone had the exact same problem that's been solved.

I found this, hope it helps.

@ this site

Support through ADE is not offered via phone or Web Chat support. It is only offered through submitting a web case (http://www.adobe.com/support/digitaleditions – click on ‘Submit a web case’). Avereage resolution time for these cases runs about 3 days.

Note: you have 6 activations (for computers, and then 6 seperate activations for devices) and each time you reformat you lose your activation

I found one of the codes mentioned on the Adobe forums at this link:

http://forums.adobe.com/thread/567202?tstart=1

One of the people having this problem was using a Literati.

One response says that these errors come about because you've "exceeded your activation allowance".  I'm not sure exactly what that means.

This is the customer support page for Adobe:
