Very healing book for someone who may have been abused as a child.

The counseling techniques in this book are excellent. This is a great guide to pair with extensive counseling that abused individuals need. The last chapter in regards to child rearing is in my opinion not always affective. There are many ways to teach a child and "time out" is just one of them. I believe explanation is always important.
