OK here is my dilemma.     Over the weekend I posted a 3 for 2 deal in the book bazaar. I   had no takers so this morning I changed my offer to 2 for 1.   I edited the original post so the 3 for 2 was no longer there, only the 2 for 1 was visible.  Anyway this afternoon I get a request for three books ordered by one person.  There was no PM regarding the freebie book and there was nothing posted to my book bazaar post. I don't know if one of the books she ordered was supposed to be a freebie.  Am I to assume that she just happened to order three books from me and did not see my offer in the Book Bazaar?  When people take advantage of offers in the bazaar don't they usually PM the person offering the deal regarding the offer.  I stated in the offer to PM me with the freebie.   I don't know if I am supposed to refund her a credit. Thank you for any help regarding this and I will wait till I get answers before I do anything.

If you didn't get a Pm or a reply in your post then this member probably just ordered FIFO and has no idea you are offering a deal. You can just let the order go as is, or you can PM the member and let them know about your deal and that you'll accept two of the books in the order and mail the third one as a freebie. Be sure to have her cancel the order for the free book, if you cancel it it will roll over to the next member in the FIFO.

You could also accept all the books and buddy one of the credits back if you do want to offer a deal.

It really is a pleasant surprise when someone you order from offers for you to pick an extra book free (I've had some kind members do that even when it's a WL book!)

Or it's possible that it's a first- timer in the book bazaar, and they're not really sure how to do the order for a deal...

I'd PM the other member to avoid confusion & quite possible make their day!

I would PM the person and tell them you are running a deal at the moment, offer to return 1 credit OR choose another book from your shelf as a freebie.
More then likely they used FIFO and chose some more books from your shelf at the same time.

I can say that when I have been given deals in the past that I normally check those members bookshelves first when looking for more books. (even if they have no deals running)

This happened to me once when I had a deal. I posted too, and the advice I was given was just to send the two books he had ordered. If he had known about the deal he would have PM'd me. This way, I got to save on shipping and get 2 credits. Personally if I were in your situation, I would feel excited to be getting 3 credits from 1 person, and wouldn't offer the deal.

If you do PM, be sure and set a deadline for them to get back to you so you can mail the books before they time out on you.
