you might put some bundles together and post them in book bazzar. like put all the Sheik books together and offer them all for one credit. try to get some kind of theme for the bundle. or if some of them are part of a series, offer those for a credit.

You might want to advertise in the Book Bazaar for deals then because most likely anyone who wants your romances is only going to have romances on their shelf.  Not all, but mostly.  I'd do some deals - like 3 for 1 or something.

Yeah, I agree.  I have mostly romances and very few of the BOB offers I get are from people who have different kinds of books or more of a variety.  More often than not, romance readers have a lot of them on their shelves, so BOB may not be what you want.  And just the average "I have romances" post doesn't really get you any orders from the Book Bazaar.  Offer at least 2for1 deals - on just your romances if you like - and if they're good books, you'll get plenty of orders.

BB works pretty well.

I have some unpostables that I want to unload since I don't read them too much. I'd give 3 unpostables and a freebie for 2 books ordered.

Definitely post on Book Bazaar!

No deal:  Little to no hits

2 for 1:  People may or may not open your thread

3 for 1 or 4 for 1:  Chances are you'll get some nice orders, especially if you point out that the 100 books are freshly listed.

If you really want to make someone's day, offer a 3 for 1, 7 for 2, 11 for 3 kind of deal to move them out.

Good luck!!

I don't think you did anything wrong, Marla.  This thread was clearly an effort to get some advice - not some blatant advertising blurb.  If you posted a special offer thread after this (I didn't see it), I'm sure it was an honest mistake.  We were all giving you advice on how to do it, but nobody thought to say just don't do it here.  No harm done, really.

It coudln't hurt to try BOB since you don't have to accept all the offers that come. I read mostly romance but I also read some mysteries, true crime and such.  So you might find someone who has someting besides romance.

But I think your best bet is to do a deal of some kind in the BB. It doesn't cost that much more to mail 2 or 3 books at once over 1 book. And you'll clear them out and earn some credit to get books you like.
