Hard cover, 80 pages, lots of afghans to make from scraps, many inspired by American quilts plus time honored favorites in knit AND crochet patterns.
I found the patterns old and outdated. Not my cup of tea.
For those who can like to crochet and want new ideas, this book is for you.
80 pages. Full color pictures. Detailed instructions.
This HARDBACK book contains patterns for scrap-saver designs, patchwork patterns for afghans and throws, and classic favorites. Also a "tips" section. Color.
I am very impressed with the designs and instructions in this book. Patterns in both knit and crochet. Several knit patterns end with a crochet border. One knitted version is a beautiful glen plaid with thistles that is knit in the round, then cut open. There is a section devoted to using up yarn stashes in ways that I have not seen before. The afghan on the cover is gorgeous as well as many others in the book. Highly recommended for your knitting/crochet library.
This is a wonderful book filled with both knitting and crocheting instructions. The illustrations are great and the directions are east to follow. I would recommend this book to anyone that knits or crochets.
This is a hardback . Better Homes and Gardens.
This is a hardback book, not a paperback. Nice patterns.
