Hello all.

I was just curious to know if anyone else here reads African-American Romance novels.  If so, please chime in.  Have any suggestions?  Fav books?  Must reads?

Off the head, one of my favorite's was Michael Baisden's "God's Gift to Women".  I used to be a big E. Lynn Harris and Eric Jerome Dickey fan.  I haven't read any in a while, so I welcome suggestions. smiley

I haven't read any that I can specifically recall but someone at walmart one day highly recommended Francis Ray and I did pick up several of her books at a used book store - they're still somewhere in my tbr. she said they were pretty spicy and good stories for the most part. I think she has a series as well with related friends or something.

non romance but a good story IMO was I Wish I Had a Red Dress - not sure of the author but the storyline appealed to me and I read the book then found otu it was book 2 I think...more like women's ficiton.

A Personal Matter
Author: Karyn Langhorne

This one was excellent.

Kimberly Kaye-Terry writes some pretty sexy books, Beverly Jenkins is pretty good, and I like Bette Ford. All of them are more straight romance than Eric Jerome Dickey though, who I agree is excellent.

I read a couple of Zane's books, but just not my style. I guess I like just up to erotica; not erotica itself;  if that makes any sense.
