Has anyone read King's new book, Just After Sunset?  I've enjoyed his short stories in the past, so I've got this one on hold at the library.  Has anyone read it already?

I am reading it now.  I think it is very good.  His best collection of short stories in a very long time, in fact..

I have this but haven't started it yet either. I just finished Blaze!! You can really tell he wrote this in the '70's. My TBR is getting so long, I don't know where to start!!

I think it is the best book he has written in a very long time. I loved most of the short stories and now have issues with port a potties :)

And it makes you see P T Cruisers in a new light too..

Great book, glad I spent the time to read it and not just leave it for later.

Hi all,

I am 2 stories shy of finishing this book, and I am enjoying it very much. I think it is classic Stephen King - very much ordinary people trying to deal with extraordinary circumstances.

The 9/11 story just haunts me!

I just finished it last night.  Just a word to the wise, you might not want to eat right before reading the last story. LOL!

I just finished it, definitely a great collection.  My favorites were "N" and "Gingerbread Girl" "The Cat From Hell" and "A Very Tight Place".

I loved "A Cat from Hell" and "A Very Tight Place".  After reading the last story, "A Very Tight Place", let's just say I won't ever go into those things again.  (I know it very vague, but I don't want to give anything away).
